Fibre Eircom

My line has been upgraded to fibre. I've haven't upgraded to same yet and am currently running @ something like four or five meg. Can I have my line speed increased (to say around 24meg) without opting for a fibre upgrade? I don't really want to be locked in to a new 18 month contract... Thanks!
