Seeking Skin Consultant Recommendation - Dublin (Preferably South)

I am 22 now and for 7 years I have been battling acne with excess oil from the skin. I still get the odd outbreak of spots on my cheeks and forehead as well as under my jaw and around my neck. While I use aloe vera and cleanse twice to three times daily, my skin remains visibly damaged and uneven through the scars from past spots and I feel it is time to seek the help of a skin consultant.

I understand that any visit to a type of skin consultant will be a costly exercise, so I am throwing it out there to see if anyone knows of who is the most effective in their treatment and with a good reputation. If anyone can point me in the direction of someone in the Dublin locality I would be highly appreciative.

I'd really recommend Therese in Calme salon in Dalkey. She helped me, free of charge, using dermalogica samples to get my rosecea under control. She specialises in acne related skin problems.

Does she take appointments or how does she operate?

Yes I presume she does. I got in contact with her via the beauty skincare website as she is the authorised dermalogica therapist. There's a consulstion form on the beauty skincare website so you could post your details there

I suffered from acne scarring and rosaeca and have been going to a girl in D4 since Christmas. I got a facial and she makes me up my own blend of stuff.
I'm not 100% sure off hand exactly what's in it but can check if you like.
I use it at night. If you want her details I can get them for you.
