Hi all, today I turned the passcode unlock on on my device, used the same code i always use, but now when i go to unlock my device its saying wrong passcode. I highly doubt i entered it wrong, as you have to enter it twice when enabling it.
I think you normally get 6 attempts to unlock before the device will be disabled for a time, but i can enter my code an infinite number of times without it being disabled, it just wont unlock. I tried another random code, and that disabled the device for a minute, very strange problem.
Anyone any advice or come across this before? I assume my only option is to restore from a backup?
    Thanks in advance

You can't just restore unless you disable find my iPhone. You have a few choices though. First you could put it in DFU and restore it then or you could sign into iCloud on a PC and wipe the phone.
