Do I need twelve lessons?

    So the new law says you need 12 lessons before you can apply for your driving test? Something like that right?

    Anyway, I've had my learners permit for about 3 years, before that law came into play. In order to get my full licence do I need to do the twelve lessons?

    If you had your FIRST learner permit before the law was changed in 2009/10 then, no. The 12 lessons aren't needed AFAIK. I'd check again with the RSA.

    EDT is mandatory to all learners who received their first driving permit on or after 4 April 2011.
    For a minute there I didn't think the above matched with what was posted above.
