Push button start ford focus

    Hi, Recently my 12 reg ford focus wont start unless i hold the push button in, i used to be able to push it and release and it started. is this a common problem with push button starts or is it a major problem

    Have you the clutch fully depressed?

    Yes clutch is fully depressed and will be due a service in 3000km.

    Never seen them give trouble is your car still under warranty ??

    Say it to them on the next service it could be something like a module requires updating.
