I'm looking into doing a build myself and put in a good bit of research. I cant post links yet as I'm not boards-worthy but if you Google "logical increments xfactor" it gives a good outline of some possible builds. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seemed a solid go-to-place since I was only researching. Amazon and hardwareversands seem to be the best value places for parts since theres a good chance of getting caught at customs. Since you're from Galway, as am I, Maplin is behind the G hotel could be worth a look, theres one or two in there that are good for advice too.
