I bought the below android box a number of months ago. I have xbmc installed and it works well with a number of add ons. However as I'm not familiar with android products and OS I'm wondering what I could do to enhance and upgrade the box itself to get the most out of it.

It is supposed to run HD video but it clearly isn't capable. SD plays okay but it's noticeable that for a dual core it struggles. I never have anything other applications running at the same time and still it struggles sometimes.

I'm just wondering if people could recommend any changes I could make to optimise how the box runs and recommend changes to make it more efficient.
