ITV + 'Other Channels' for Sky+HD??

    Hi guys,

    I am trying to tune in some ITV channels on my Sky+HD box but it seems that Sky have blocked access to the frequency settings.

    Has anybody added any other channels to their Sky box recently??

    (Mods - apologies as i know this has already been discussed but not recently.)

    I added ITV encore only last week. I recall reading that the ITV HD channels have changed frequency do you can't add them to a sky box any more. I was able to add STV HD a few weeks sgo and it's still working.

    you can add UTV HD use 11052H, 22000, 5/6.

    Have you a card in the box ? if not you wont be able to access other channels to add them.

    You should see a channel 20780...thats UTV but Im not sure if its HD or not.

    ITV Encore is also available

    If one searches around for the transponder.. I think it is 10892 H 22000/27500 not sure which FEC 5/6

    Good hunting.

    Ps it is only available on the SKY box.

    ITV Encore HD works on the 'card trick' in Ireland if you have a ROI HD sub!

    Dont know if this is just recent, but whatever settings I try manually, it now goes almost straight away to "no signal" once I select search for channels. Wanted to try to add ITV Encore but can't add anything now ??

    Right ignore that - was forgetting to change orientation from V to H. Have now added the Encore channel but just says "this channel is not available" ?? Yes have a SKY HD box and sub.

    But are you sure you have a HD sub and are you using a UK ftv card? Thats the only way you'll get it to the best of my knowledge.

    Yes it's all repeats,but there are some superb dramas on it. I'm glued to Mrs Biggs at the moment,Sheridan Smith is great in this one.

    So what would I have to do to get this channel ? Where would I get UK FTV card and how much ? What is this talk about card trick and blue button ? Enlighten me please ?

    BTW, not sure if makse any difference but have single feed from Dish.

    I'm getting it on the blue button not the epg! Don't mind though as I can still record from the ITVs and Channel 5s!
