Currently with sky for my broadband as we can only get the up to 24mb broadband where I live.

The max upload sky can give me is my current 670kbps which they have told me is set by the wholesale deal they have done with Eircom.

I currently get 12MB down and 670 up max from Sky on my line.

I am trying to find out if any other provider offers upload speeds of a minimum of 1mbps on the up to 24MB broadband.

I have similar speeds as you and I wanted more upload speed because I'm a heavy uploader. There's nothing I could do unless I found a fixed wireless operator in my area. Follow this link and see if the is one available in your area: http://www.irelandoffline.org/newmap/

On the top-right corner, click on "Wireless ISPs", find your area on the map and it should show any available WISPs in your area.

Oh yeah and as the poster above said, you need to live beside the exchange to get 1Mb upload. Not many people have it.
