As the above suggests, my local pre school is full up, apparently they can't even give him a place for next year, i'm gutted as both my other children went there when it had to be paid for.

I am afraid now he will be at a disadvantage to the other children starting school, there are other schools a few miles away but i don't have the transport, is it necessary to go to pre school? He is entitled to the free pre school this year but i am still not sending him to school next year it will be the following year he is three and a half at the moment.

I would put his name down for the following year and hope for the best that they will find a space for him. It must be a very popular school to be booked up over 12 months in advance!
