    Bit of a tricky one here. Currently living at home for the safety of my mother who is going through a messy divorce. Both parents reside in the same household but neither myself or my mother have anything to with him not even verbal interaction. I currently work full time but dont get a lot and have applied to go back to college in september in ITB as a mature student. She gets maintenance off him, not a lot and has recently cut it further out of spite as the divorce is coming to a close. Because I live in the same residence as my father his income must be taken into account according to SUSI despite having nothing to do with him and if he is not willing to declare bank details and assets to courts under order he certainly wont disclose to me for college grant not that I would ask him. SUSI takes into account estranged i read on their site but because I'm at home for my mother and he lives there too that cancels my chance with SUSI as they informed me earlier today.
    When I go back to college I will only be able to work weekends with my job most likely so need to try get a grant somewhere. SUSI seems to have a set guideline and done take cases or circumstances into account
