Mortar Boards?

Iv been using plywood mortar boards for a number of years now and to be honest im sick of replacing them every now and again plus it dries up the mix as well alot faster.

Iv search my local hardware stores for some polymer type boards such as gatorback mortar boards and to no avail. Does any where in Ireland sell them type of boards?? I cant seem to find an online Irish retailer.

    Regards Jon

Corri board fixed to the ply? Or shuttering ply?

You could try a bit of polybond on the ply or varnish if you feel like spending a bit of time over it. Basically anything that will seal the surface of the wood.

I know a blocklayer that uses these also for spot boards, good job and easier clean.
