Anyone used this crowd for repair work. Or has anyone heard anything good or bad about them. Have some dent in my boot and they will remove them and paint the area using the smart technique. They are offering a lifetime warranty on the work as long as I own the car. The quote they gave me is about half if what id expect to pay. They said it would take a full day 9am -5pm to do the work. Obviously they wouldn't be working on it for the whole day but with drying time and all that I suppose. I'm very tempted but would like to here anyone's opinions on it or if someone has used them previously.

Is there paint damage? Do you think you would get away with a paintless dent removal? We use this guy regularly for PDR and he is very good:

No there is damage to the paint so unfortunately PDR won't work.
From the picture both marks are back to metal and there is slight dent in both places although the took dent is very noticeable not so much in the picture.

Ah ok. To be honest my experience of those smart repair guys isn't great. The durability of the paint they use is poor enough. Over time it goes dull and the repair becomes obvious, especially in areas that take a lot of abuse such as front bumpers.

Having said that it would probably be fine for somebody like you who probably polishes their car regularly, especially on the boot door which won't see much abuse. But for your normal punter whose idea of car care is to run it through a car wash it's a different story....

Thanks for the advice. I figured alright you'd have to be fairly careful with the area that was repaired or it would get damaged again. I'm more concerned with just getting rid of the in your face damage. As it catchs your eye and kind of looks worse than it is as the car has no real other marks or scratches on it.
