Replacing Ridge Tiles

Lost 4 ridge tiles during the bad winds during winter which had replaced but Roofer said the whole lot probably need doing before next Winter as they are all more or less just sitting there at this stage (House built around 1999).

Standard 3 Bed semi and looks like about 35ish ridge tiles in total.

Any idea of rough total cost and can it be done under house insurance normally?

Would it affect Insurance Premium or better off paying cash?

For a start if they are not all broken and are only loose they can be cleaned and reset.
Just because the roofer said that it does not mean it's true.
Get up and check them your self and take account of the situation.
Then engage the services of a roofer to refit the existing tiles cost no more than 300 euro.
