    What part i or ii

Found it pretty tough...took me full time to do everything. Q1 part B was horrible and Q2 A was singled to a cold climate which theyve never done :(

I just mentioned how pipelines which service the country are unstable and dangerous, and how oil and gas are finite resources, which cal leave people unemployed, when they become extinct and increase unemployment :L

Was pretty pleased with the paper. :)

Nice paper- quite different to previous years and some of the short questions were quite unusual too! Overall though it was grand.
    I did questions 3,4 and 5. :)

By the way was the aerial photo oblique or vertical?

I said vertical I could be wrong though.

Since november we've been doing exam papers so it took our whole class completely off-guard. SO different to others years and some tricky tails on the end of questions I hadn't seen before. So angry with myself because I only studied exam papers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,226 ✭✭✭Liordi

Gonna see how much marks I got in short questions when the paper is published on. :D
Know for a fact I got the very first question wrong, though :(

What were the outputs for the farming question?

What were the outputs for the farming question?

Correct me if I'm wrong but..cattle silage and wheat?

I was a bit confused at first with this one as i assumed cattle was an input. Then I noticed it specifically said 'calves' which is an output (i think). I got those other answers aswell.

Could slurry not be considered an output? It was making silage not just silage so sounded like a process, but could of been a tillage farm!

Okay, I'm completely and utterly shocked. Was it just me who found Geography to be a ridiculously easy exam? I mean, one of the questions was "What is this picture about?" and underneath the question there was a picture of a polar bear and a penguin on an ice berg with 4 answers beneath, one being 'Global warming'. I was actually laughing to myself during the exam.

found it pretty easy! I did Q1,Q4,Q5. Question 4 was class knew my cirque and location of industry off by heart so was delighted that came up. Some of the short questions were kinda tough though!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,226 ✭✭✭Liordi

Did anyone else not do question 5? :/

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32 JWM12

The short q's were more difficult than usual but my god the long questions were simple. oh dear goodness they were simple.

My teacher has been telling us since forever to do that question (ordnance survery) but I think the theory is easier so I did Q1,Q2 and Q4 as they required least effort :)

Lovely paper got all 5 questions done with time to spare.

What. I got question 3 a done very badly. Most of 4 done except a bit of D and half of question 5 done

I managed to get every question done with a few minutes spare to sort out my pages. Loved Q5, was an absolute beauty. Doing the sketch of the ordnance survey using a 1:50 scale is an easy 10 marker :)

Well four was the geomix so you only actually have to do 3 parts of it.
