Twins on holiday

Hi, hopefully you've a few suggestions for us. We've twins (17 months) and looking at a summer break (September) to the sun. Ideally a short (< 3 hour) flight with lots of facilities for the twins, a creche would be great for an hours relaxation for Mum & Dad...
We've been in with the local travel agent and they said we are very limited when it comes to destinations/resorts that cater for families with toddlers.
    Thanks

You'll have to entertain the twins yourselves, they are too young for Kids clubs etc. I was recently in Majorca with my 16 month twins (plus 3 yr old and 5 yr old) to a very family friendly resort. I brought my parents to help. Still bloody hard work though. If you want down time for Mum and Dad - bring a family member to help!

We bought our then 18 month old twins and almost 4 year old to the algarve. Stayed in Praia da luz in a rented apartment. Flight is 2.5 hours, 1 hour taxi transfer. Everything in walking distance. Booked all ourselves.

The grandparents came over for a week and stayed with us giving us a few nights out and helped in the day. Grandparents were great as we knew the kids wouldn't be strange with them.

It's difficult to be sure a stranger will work out with both/all the kids.

Falcon have a kids club for babies- toddlers it's called Twinklestars and is in some of their holiday villages.

I've found them great to travel with. We've been to lanzarote twice with them when my daughter was 14 months and again when she was 4.
