Waiting Time for License?

    Hi there,
    What's everyone's experience of waiting times between attending the NDLS centre and getting their license in the post? Been waiting over a week now....

    There have been some horror stories here of people having to wait 2 months to get it. My niece got hers in 2 1/2 weeks. It is unlikely that you will get it in less than two weeks. I think that is the minimum time that they tell you in the NDLS centre that it will take. Some centres seem to have a terrible backlog and some others seem to be able to crank them out pretty quickly, even though the centres no longer produce them on site. All the luck of the draw really. :rolleyes:

    Waited 2 months back in December arrived early feb, there was a problem with the "new" system so i was told. A friend got his in 10 days

    Back in January my dad got his(full licence) in about 10 days from Cork. I applied for my permit on the 23rd of May in Clonmel and I got it in the post yesterday(3rd June).
