    So the time has come for me to graduate from the Mammy Wagon C-Max to my very own automobile.

    Budget will be between €2-€5k; which is obviously why I've included the 159 in the title there. I've had a look insurance wise and its coming out ~€600 online for 1.8 Petrols (not going near a diesel). Obviously tax bracket is essentially the same too @ €636. Looking for a decent whack of test, enough to get me to the end of Sept anyway.

    These are two that fall at either end of the bracket;

    156 - http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/alfa-romeo-156-ti/6922533

    (I want that for the reg alone)

    159 - http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/alfa-159/6854121

    (Looks a little too cheap which makes me think it could be a lemon)

    Anyways; am I mental to be considering an Alfa? I've thought about an S40 and a 9-5 too. I really don't want a Focus/Golf/Corolla tbh, and I know they're your stock starter car. I just god damn love the look of those Alfa's. :o

    I've had a few, and still got two.
    Alfa's are like any other car. LOOK AFTER them, and they will look after you.

    Having said that, finding on that has been looked after is another thing. Buy from someone who is pasionate about the brand, and you'll not go far wrong.

    Check out www.alfaowner.com

    Those pictures of that 159 do it no justice. I have a GT in the same colour. Go look at it in the sunlight. The paint really "pops"
