Squawk 7700 at 1330 UTC today. Anyone know what aircraft uses the callsign COBRA2?
couldn't find anything illuminating on google. perhaps a german luftwaffe tactical aircraft.

It's an F-16. Possibly out of Nevada.

Depends on where it was. RC-135s in transit use COBRA or SNOOP callsigns, depending upon type. They pass over Ireland with some frequency.

If it was deeper in Continential Europe then it could have been a tactical callsign.

Yeah, I think this is more likely than an F-16. When I clicked the details (flightradar pro app) the squawk was gone after 10 minutes so no idea on location.

Reports suggest a harrier crash landed into several homes around the time of the squawk
