Short Term Contracts / Moving name on account to another person

    Hey guys,

The person in my current place in charge of the internet is moving out at the end of the month and are transferring their plan to their new place. I'm only going to be around here for the next 6 months tops so I'm wondering whether any groups offer 6 month contracts and/or offer any opportunities for a plan to be transferred to be the responsibility of someone else upon my moving out.

I'm still a student also so if any companies still offer student discounts of shorter contracts for students, I can probably avail of them too.

    Thank you for your help.

Magnet offer a 1 month contract but I think they have a 50 euro charge if you cancel within 12 months hidden in their t&cs. UPC will allow you to add someone to the contract but you would still be responsible if that person stopped paying. There are mobile options that let you have 20GB for 20 euro a month.

Magnet are the only ones I know that offer no contract options.

    Thanks for the info guys.

Are there any other than Magnet that offer pretty cheap cancellation charges? UPC are 200, to be honest I'd have little problem paying up to 100 to cancel a contract but 200 is ridiculous.
