Looks very like left 4 dead , they even had this in the announcment
"special content generation system that ensures players never encounter exactly the same environment or set of enemies twice"

Worth noting that this is Crytek US, the studio made up of many former Vigil staff, the guys behind the Darksiders series. While the loss of Joe Madureira will certainly hurt them on the creative side, I'm still interested to see how this turns out.

I like the fact it's set in the 1800s, although that could make one think of the Van Helsing or Hansel and Gretel movies (shudder). It's third person as well, rather than FPS.

Any of ye going to sign up for the beta?
