Can remand prisoner transfer his money to friends outside?

    Can a remand prisoner (in Cloverhill) transfer all his money (he had on him during arrest) to people outside? or does that only apply to personal items such as phones, keys etc..

    Also how long does it take?

    I presume this is related to your bail question earlier. It's unusual for a third party to be required to front bail money. Either there is a cash amount the defendant can pay or there is a requirement for a third party to be able to vouch for them and have enough money in the bank. If you are taking money from the defendant temporarily in order to fool the court into thinking you have the money available you may face issues.
