Creaking noise when steering

Started getting this lately, a creaking or groan when I turn at slow speeds, reversing out of driveway etc.

Power steering fluid seems fine, though a little low (i will top up asap) but not sure its that anyway.

Control arm/wishbone or tie rods maybe?
    Any thoughts?

    Its an A5 btw.

No they are a consumable part, if it is the bushes get both sides done together.

Definitely from the car? You don't have a squeaky back?

Get somebody to turn the steering and feel the strut tops for creak with the bonnet open.

    Sound, cheers.
That's something i wouldnt know too much about but i'll try get someone to have a look at it tomorrow with me.

Lads, any danger driving the car as normal with something like this?

I'd guess strut top bearings. However, get a good mechanic to take a look as it could be all of the things mentioned above.

Just thinking, does the excessive wear i had on the inside of my front left tyre have any connection to what has been listed above?

It was very bad. (yet still passed the NCT mind)
