Wanted road bike

Looking at getting my first road bike. Going to be commuting 12km each way daily. Looking at spending approx 400 (May extend budget if right thing comes along). 5ft 11 so think I fall into the medium/large frame category. Have used bike to work scheme on hybrid (annoyed I wasted it) that I have just sold to finance new purchase. Any tips or offers would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not expert myself but I'm in the market looking for new bike too. for €400 price range there are couple of bikes which are 50% off on Halfords website and the brand is Carera. again I don't know much but you can have a look at those.

I have a nice giant road bike its a giant fcr 3 you can google it to see as i am not allowed to post links up yet. i would be looking for 200 for it but its in good condition and its 19.5 inch everything works.

I would sell a 10 speed willier equipped with a full 105 groupset for that. It's a nice comfy and fast bike and would be the perfect size.
