See badly cropped screen grab from ASOS. Shoes that i bought at about 01:00am this morning. Gone up in price from 29euro (bottom in basket) to 39euro (on top on sale today). Increase of 20% in time for 20% off sale tonight. Cheeky beggars!

Is it legal for them to do that yeah?

I know that items have to stay at their normal price for I think 3 or 4 months before dropping for a "sale", but not really sure about companies rising their price for a sale?

i also noticed some items in my saved bag went up by 20% for this 'sale' of 20%

Bad form by asos. Used to use this site a lot but since they have introduced a typical minimum spend for free delivery, I can see myself using them far less. Maybe if they didn't send everything by courier, even something like a single scarf, they wouldn't need to charge for postage.

I also noticed they have increased their prices. A dress I was looking at is €105 full price on ASOS, but is €93 on Oasis' own site. It's even cheaper again on houseoffraser.co.uk.

I would really recommend house of fraser actually - they have huge stock (far more than ASOS), excellent sales and very good customer service. You also can get a loyalty card with them.

Are you talking about the website or the actual shop in Dundrum? What is P&P like from their site?

The website. I think it's free delivery if you spend over £50.

15 Euro minimum spend seems more than reasonable to me.

As a guy, I wouldn't see HoF as being any real competition for ASOS. ASOS have a better variety of clothes, much of which comes from smaller brands. HoF tends towards the likes of Paul Smith, Replay, Diesel, J&J, hugo Boss, Ralph lauren etc. ASOS have many of the new Scandinavian brands such as J Lindeburg & Junx De Luxe, and other new brands like YMC. HoF is very much into established high street and luxury brands. ASOS will have stuff that can be a little harder to find, and in some cases cheaper.

£50 for free delivery is a lot. €15 isn't in my opinion, my average basket would be about €40 at least and with more than one item.
