    I applied one job in US and got feedback about it, I am wondering what type of visa that required for Irish Citizen to work in US?

    It's the employer that petitions for the visa, not the employee.
    There are various kinda of work visa depending on the type of work and company you are with; the most common is the H1B (closed till next April) and the L1 intra-company transfer.

    My experience is that when applying for a job in the US, the employer presumes that you already have a valid work visa. In the case that they are willing to sponsor it's almost always mentioned in the job advert.

    The H1B is really your only option I think.
