Didn't he have a career threatening injury of some sort about 18 months ago?? AFAIK that's why he has not been active for a bit. And I think he has been doing a few movies too.

    Should be an interesting fight.

Have you seen photos of him recently? He's huge. You'd know they weren't fighting in the US...

tested positive for HGH, 9 month ban

9months is a joke, tho his mma career is practically over

Bisping sure does get some juiced up opponents, how many is that now? 6??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,900 ✭✭✭✭Mellor

No surprises there. Everyone, inc Bisping, called it before the fight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

Bisping must be the unluckiest fighter out there. Fighting all these juiced up guys, and he's lost 2 title eliminators to drugged up opponents so technically he should have had 2 title shots by now. Feel bad for the guy, he messed up Le's face in any case though.

Well that's the least surprising test result ever!

3 title eliminators, Hendo, then Chael, then Vitor.

I'd say he'll definitely go down in history as the best UFC fighter to never fight for a world title

Vitor's fought twice since then so I don't think it was a title eliminator. I agree with the 2nd statement, up there at least.

I know he's a loudmouth and not everyone's cup of tea but I like him and feel quite bad for him. He's been surprisingly quiet on it all, if I was him I'd be absolutely raging. Deep down I'm sure he is.

It kinda was for Bisping but probably not for Vitor since he had already lost to Silva.

Yea, I feel bad for him too although a strong performance against Rockhold, you could almost argue a case to give him a title shot since Tim Kennedy has now lost. Maybe if Bisping convincingly beat Rockhold, then Jacare got injured, Bisping could step in.

That being said, I can't really see him beating Rockhold...

I can't see him beating Rockhold either, and even if he does I'd say he's still a fight away from the title. It's a pretty stacked division.

The worst imo was his loss to juiced up Chael, because I actually thought he won that fight and all.

I dont know how cung thought he was getting away with this, that picture alone released said it all there is nobody or very little people in that shape at his age without juicing steve wonder could tell he was on the stuff,is his fight pay taken back no?

He was unlucky, Bisping requested a blood test over the pre fight urine test and that's why he was caught no doubt.

Nobody's ever been caught by pictures and hearsay.
He simply thought he'd pass the tests, he was wrong.

Fair play to the UFC for doing the extra testing.

Lets be real here,an honest question when you seen 'the' picture of him a few weeks ago did you think he was clean?,a blind man could tell he was juiced up to the nines 99.9% of 42 year olds in shape half as good as that have an arse like a dart bord I nearly pissed myself when he said it was just the lighting in the room made him look ripped.

    It's that simple.
The whole world knew he was juicing. Bisping knew, The UFC knew, Knowing is useless if he pisses clean. HGH is only recently able to be detected, he might not of been caught if not for the extra tests the UFC did.

UFC have extended his ban to 12 months. Surely that's the end for Le?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,962 ✭✭✭✭Zero-Cool

As good as it must have felt to bust up Le like that, Bisping must be really pissed off. Hope he gets 1 title shot before retiring. I remember when I started watching MMA, he was my least favourite fighter, the loud cocky English villain but he turned into one of my favourites.

Don't think he deserves a title shot tbh, he would get mauled. I do like him though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

He came out today blaming the quality of the test, just own up Cung. Not a very likeable guy from what I've witnessed.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,150 ✭✭✭kumate_champ07

HGH is used by alot of action stars, he did martial arts action movies so was probably under pressure to look a certain way, Sylvester Stallone is a walking HGH billboard. the fact he's denying having taken it makes me dislike him alot

    Is Tim Kennedy a juicer?

I don't get you. Did I say he was? Or are you genuinely asking me if he's a juicer?

Kennedy and Evans are the only clean guys who he's lost to.

    Was he juiced up? Probably
Did he get out of it on a technicality? Definitely

Not really a technicality. There was nothing found outside of the rules.
The lab did the wrong test, they never actually tested for exogenous HGH. Then they threw away the B sample.

If he got away with something, it was essentially because there was no usable testing at the event.
