There were some conspiracy theories floating around that he was assassinated but I am fairly sure he died of natural causes (cancer) - was in contact with him shortly before his death.

Mind you, can understand why some thought Anders was assassinated - have been told by several independent and reliable sources that Special Branch types were present at funeral, photographing mourners and cars, etc.

Incidentally for what it's worth, a lot of the better researchers have been banned from the Icke forum recently.
