    Well,

I'm sure everyone has come across / has a pr#ick at work.
In my case today, it was something of nothing, but this particular person just got under my skin, with there loud and somewhat intimidating comment.

I regret not saying something clever/defend myself there and then, but next time around I will promptly respond.

Anyone else like to leave off some steam????

Yes I work with them every day. The ones that obviouly do nothing the managers know this - do nothing to motivate them and then the same type of people who take over staff meetings and wont let anyone speak .
    They really annoy me
And what annoys me worst is the management who do nothing about these type of people

Perhaps it might be an idea to get HR involved. They have an interest in ensuring a worry-free environment at work, and could defuse the situation by having a discrete word with the party in question?

Not a hope its shocking .They insist all " minor matters" similar to this are dealt with @ local level . They would not tolerate and would ignore issues like this ( have in the past )

To be honest hr are the worst hr I have ever come across.
