My husband is on reduced hours in work and so claims for the days he is "unemployed" and claims for me as a dependant adult and also 2 kids.

I want to get back out and train to be a hairdresser, the course that will fast track me costs €4000

What i want to know is, am i eligable for a grant towards the costs of the course or is there anything i can do to avail of a grant (claiming back to education myself maybe?)
I really want to do this course but feel there is no way for me to do it as i have no income, dh's wages arent great and we are just about getting by. I know the grant would t be a lot but it would be a help.
I should also add that the course is itec accredited and run privately.
