Today i received after 8 weeks waiting a letter at home stating i can collect tomorrow my JSA at the office, so i got approved for it. and afterwards i can collect it every Wednesday on.

But my question now is :
It states that the payments will be from the 28 of March.
Does that mean that tomorrow i will be able to collect the total sum of arrears at the same time as my normal JSA ?

Thanks for your time all and for the answers coming.

The arrears could be there or it might be a current weeks payment only with the arrears to follow on the next payment. It really depends. Also as it is a bank holiday next week your payment for next week will mostly likely be in the post office tomorrow. You could get 2 weeks (current week plus next weeks) with no further payment until Tuesday 10th June (which could included your arrears).
Sorry I can't be more definite, you could contact your local office to find out how much you will be collecting.

i think its quite common to send you a cheque for the arrears (the way i got my own and several other people i know) but you should give your local office a call and they can tell you straight away how and when you will recieve the payment
