Third year paid work placement & Third level grants?

    Daughter starting paid work placement next month. This is her third year work placement of a 4 year business degree. She currently gets full third level grant.
    Can anyone advise the following (college and SUSi seem not to know)

    1. is she entitled to fees paid and grant for this third year?
    2. will her earnings be taken into account for her final year grant application?

    I'm on the pre SUSI system so not sure of it is the same but for me it had no affect on my third year grant and due to assessing the previous year I don't think it will affect my 4th year grant.

    2553, when you say had no effect you mean you got in whilst in paid work experience?
    We're you on full or partial grant?

    Full grant. I was only working for the summer between third and forth year so it was paid during the college year as normal. Is this a work placement that replaces the third year or will they be in college as usual? My last of 3 cheques was in April just before I started. There was a form to fill out in college if you were unable to collect the cheque due to being on that foreign year thing (eranumas?) or work placement so it is a common issue.
