Holyhead to Southampton

    Hi folks.

We are currently on the ferry heading from Dublin to Holyhead. We are then driving to Southampton for a wedding tomorrow.

We have a young child with us so will probably stop twice along the journey.

Does anyone have any good recommendations where we could stretch our legs and refresh?

    Thanks.

The Norton Cane Services on the M6 Toll are great for a break. Lots of space and generally not as crowded as the toll free motorways.

On the way back, Llandudno is a great place to stop before the ferry. Asda in Llandudno is great for those last minute things (and they're also great for school uniform shirts :o) £3 or so for a school uniform shirt that you would pay up to €10 for here. )

Llandudno area is so pretty. There is a Smyths Toys there too if you wanted to stop someone where your child might be interested in.
