I found a larvae(?) this evening on my wall inside. It looked like a caddis fly larvae in that it had constructed a case and looked like a little white worm with a black head inside it.

Any idea what exactly it is?

Looks like it could be a White-Shouldered House Moth - i.e. the usual moths you see in houses with the white around the head.

Considering its in a case, try case-bearing clothes moth

Thanks for that, we have loads of those white shouldered moths around. However the case definitely looked more like the case moth.

Do I need to be worried there's an infestation or just put it down to a one off??
