Can anyone recommend a decent website where I can log my workouts? Preferably for free. Thanks!

I use thesquatrack.com. Simple and comprehensive and the developer is coming out with an app soon.

Thanks for the recommendation! It doesn't look like it's freely available to the public yet, but it's a good sign that they are developing an app.

Fitocracy is another one I've heard of but I don't use it so I can't comment on how good it is.

Is there a big benefit to these things rather than just having a log on here, or a blog?

I don't think so. They have graphs of progression and tell you when you hit PR's and things like that but it's just a log. I unfortunately have them all over the place now! With thesquatrack I can export to excel though so that's handy.

Typing out everything on here would be wayyyy too much effort, man :pac:

Plus it has the whole get points/level up thing. Which is fun. There's a big social aspect to fitocracy also that I wouldn't use as much and I think there's courses too

Aaaanyway it's just easy to click buttons. And have it tell you automatically if you got a PR cos you don't remember

I use a google spread sheet. It works quite well if you're doing a nice set routine. Can be a bit awkward if you have a routine that allows for chopping and changing.

New to the world of the smartphone I've tried out a few apps in the last day or two and I've come to the conclusion that the log here is less headwrecking to do.
