Hi, I'm an online marketer / fitness professional who created an online business by combining those two skills.

I have reached the point where I can see a lot of potential growth in my business, but the workload amounts to more than I can handle myself within the objective's time frame. I'm now somewhat dependent on making a team of 1-3 others to share the workload of getting there so I need to bring some people on board.

I was thinking of either going to seminars/meetings and socialising more to hopefully find the type of people I am looking for or else advertising online to "meet and interview" potential partners, although that might be a bit brazen considering I am a sole trader and not a company who's employing yet.

Can anyone make any suggestions on how I could dive aggressively into doing this, the quickest way to find the right people to come on board to turn this into a profit yielding company.

    Regards.

Congratulations on getting your business going, well done!
It's fantastic that you recognise the need to bring people in. Once you have them in don't be afraid to share the load. It's a common mistake in the early stages to try and be involved in every little detail.

A sole trader can have employees so don't worry about that. You haven't said what skills they need but I'd recommend advertising or through recommendations. You've enough to be dealing with, no need to start socialising with people on the off chance they could good employees. You also mention "partners". There's nothing wrong being an employer and having people working "with you" rather than "for you" but at the end of the day you are the boss so you need to maintain that relationship.

A friend recently told me about this, not sure if its what you are looking for but thought I would mention it.

Whats the workload, and the timeframe and why can't you make it happen on your own?

Well like the work that has to be carried out is intense marketing: Social media, SEO, SEM, Youtube (all of which I have done myself in the past but now need to focus more on my product - finish my content videos, written elements etc.)

I'm not really looking for people to work "for" me just yet anyway, but rather 1-2 people to work "with" me and have a bit of fun in it at this stage because the dirty work has mostly been done.

    You won't get far here.

Go to the Warrior forum, every single person on there is doing what you need to be done giving you time to work on your content.
