Wouldn't be so sure. the form of her two races is not exactly being endorsed.
Granted she was impressive the last day, but the form book isn't backing it up.

It will be interesting to see if the same owners Tarfasha takes up the engagement, as she was very impressive the last day, and looks a big improver this year stepped up to middle distances.

Hard to know how Marvellous will act on the track, because if she runs as green again friday week as she did last Sunday, her race will be over before she starts to stay on, granted she only looked to be getting in gear after 7 furlongs, so could eat them alive over extra half mile.

My cash will be on Marvellous once Moore rides it and its not lightning fast ground

I'll be on marvellous and ihtimal, Cant understand taghroodas price some of the worst form in the race. Am I missing something?

What form? A maiden win and a win in a listed race that is working out horrible?
Tarfasha looks a much better bet imo. Beat older fillies at Naas the last day and 6/1 is much better value imo.

I just want Taghrooda to win because it might take the pressure off STS.

Ive backed volume at 25/1 last week and now its 16/1 best.

For some reason Momentus is jumping out at me on the race card. Finished a close up 3rd in the Lingfield Oaks trial only on her second ever start. She met a bit of traffic that day but looking at the race again it looked more a learning curve for her than to try and win, her jockey gave her an easy time. Could run well at a massive 66/1.

Tarfasha each way banker and with some bookies paying 1/4 odds first 4, it's a bet to nothing.

Taghrooda bolted up at a great price, yet again O'Briens fillies have one good race and then bombs

But stated like fact. Don't mind people expressing opinions just irritating when people speak in certainties in racing.

    Run along now.

"Tarfasha wins on good ground"-factual statement
So is "Geoffrey Chaucer wins on soft"

"I think Tarfasha will win on good ground"-expeessing an opinion

"Run along". Your childish comebacks don't make you look smart

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

    Run along wasnt a "comeback".
    That, is a fact.

I won't get pedantic and address grammar technicalities in a horse racing forum.

    Anyway, well done sting

    Sting has left :(

He only got 5/2 though, wonder if a lot of his cash was done at that price, maybe he went in again today.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

He would have had to if he genuinely thought it near an odds on shot

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,016 ✭✭✭Hulk Hands

How on earth would soft ground suit Geoffrey??

Whats the story with O Brien even running Marvellous after such a hard race on testing ground in the Guineas a few weeks back. Moore even called it before the race that the Oaks may come too soon for her. O Brien has to have a good look at himself in the mirror hes bottomed out many a good horse over the years.

Remember back in the day when Vincent was there He made all the calls. It was his yard and it was he who placed the horses in races. these days Aidan Has Magnier and his sons breathing down his neck telling him where to run horses. I think Aidan should speak his mind more on where to place horses but realistically. look at him and his nature. He doesn't come across as a pound the table kind of guy. He didn't want to run Camelot in the Irish Derby but Magnier insisted because Ireland wanted to see him. they ran him on that horrible ground and he was never the same after. I'm getting those same vibes when it comes to Australia tomorrow.
