Anybody remember NEON?

    Does anybody remeber a brilliant Dublin band from the late 90s called NEON?

    They were amazing brooding rock/indie and used to do sold out shows in the Temple Bar Music Centre.

    I loved them but can't find any of their stuff or any info on them anywhere?

    Please Help!!!

    Was at that TBMC gig too. It was full of family members and they were very good. The band wore black but the music was commercial 4 of us type rock. Thought they would be a success but back then the rock revival hadn't restarted again.

    Yep, saw them a few times in the TBMC - infinitely better than Chix who seemed to be supporting everyone around then too.
    I think they played there with the Crocketts and Turn at one point.
    Pretty sure I have an EP somewhere but no idea where.
    They were basically Dublins answer to Mesner.

    I remember seeing them support Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros in the Olympia theatre in 2000 I think it was... Just remember being very impressed but they disappeared soon after... Only reason I kinda remember is that I found the gig ticket the other day.

    Cool. Might be interesting to see how things panned out for them.
    Entertaining band and looked like they could go the distance considering some of the gigs they were landing.
