I'm just wondering if anyone has taken the winter lining out of their jackets/ pants yet? I haven't dared because I haven't felt too warm on the bike at all this year. I stopped using my winter gloves last week and changed to my standard pair, considering changing back already, my fingers are numb(ish) by the time I get to work.

    Anyone braved it yet?

Only got back on the bike about 2 months ago after a couple of months break! The lining was already out of my leathers and I never bothered putting it in. Driving to work every day 80km round trip and never really felt the cold.I just throw a t shirt and another top on under the leathers and thats usually enough. Having said that I do always wear a balaclava and I think this helps alot. I wear the same gloves all year round ( Goretex) for the reason Wonda stated about the for seasons in one day.

I do go around with standard leathers on all the time with the rain gear in the Kriega pack, only stop and stick the rain gear on if its hammering down and the sky is totally grey so I knew it wont stop.

The summer was tuesday and wednesday, if you missed it and only go out in dry weather, pack the bike away till next year

Not with all this rain. Proper leathers and anti-mist spray for the visor and away you go.

Lining out this week, and some new normal gloves for the last 3 weeks.

Although to be fair my jacket is a 3 season jacket so is warm and waterproof even without the lining, so perfect for Irish weather almost all year around apart from the 2.5 days of summer.

I have the vented summer jacket and gloves on standby! :P
