I have been to a dozen websites reading how to make your profile completely private and none of them hide it completley. I have been on peoples pages where you can see nothing. No friends nothing. No matter how many settings I change. I can't hide statuses, friends, what I've shared. It is driving me mad. What else can I do?

Nothing really - they could change it all some day and make everything public ( and undelte-able )

Are you logging out before checking your page? If you stay logged in, you will always see your stuff, regardless of any privacy settings

    Go to a stationery shop.

Buy a notebook. Not the electronic kind, the old fashoioned kind made of processed tree-fibres.

Write status updates into it using a pen. Draw pictures of faces Etc.

On the front cover, write "Facebook" - but make sure you keep it in a place where no one else can find it.

.... there you go, Facebook, but completely private.
