Reminds me of my commute in only this morning. I was on the first stretch of Chesterfield Avenue heading south east (so between the Castleknock gate and the first roundabout, and since the surface in the shoulder there is pretty rough (and I don't believe it safe to tip 35-40kph on the paths!) I was in the left of the driving lane on the road. Cue some tosspot howyabud in a Golf following pretty close waiting for a gap in oncoming traffic to overtake me, which he does when a gap appears. Only for him to have to stop in a queue of traffic at the roundabout again, and me to pass him once more.

Then on the far side of the roundabout (by which point I'm in the shoulder as it's much smoother there) he decides to roll down the window and start shouting something out the window, though I can hear nothing beyond his accent (hence above classification) over his engine and some wind noise. At no point throughout this, I imagine, did it occur to him that the only thing that served to delay him was passing me slowly to shout something, seeing as he got past me, only to be passed again in turn. The mind boggles!

I'm curious to know what this dude does for a living. I'm imagining he works for some human rights organisation, or volunteers at a home for underprivileged kittens, or perhaps he organises exciting canoeing trip adventures for out-of-towners?

Hilarious that he thinks he is delayed when the 3 clips I seen had no opposing traffic and a clear line of site for an overtake, bit odd.
