    Hi all,
My mum is going a bit stir crazy and wants to get out and meet new people and do some stuff. That's great, but as she's 78 and has limited mobility, it's not as easy to organise as it might sound!
I've checked and there seem to be a few senior clubs around, which I will look into, but there's quite a lot of mentions of bingo and such things, which I know she wouldn't be into.
It's the Huntstown area and I know there's a group that meet at the Huntstown Community centre and also one in Blakestown. There are others, but in terms of location, they're really the best options.

I think there's also a book club in Huntstown and also the Library which I'm also going to look into.

Does anyone else have any suggestions about places locally where she could socialise with people in her own age group and maybe get to do some things (not bingo though! ;) )
    All suggestions gratefully accepted! :)

    XM
