Employment Prospects with an NUIG Degree?

Really thinking of going to NUIG next year, but I've heard bad things about some peoples' employment prospects (suppose its just people sniping other colleges), would rather be hearing you get what you put in. Also, would I have much chance of getting Campus accommodation? Already see some places are fully booked.

AFAIK NUIG are highly recognised degrees..(could be wrong) I graduated in 2012, when NUIG had just gone up in the world rankings..
Since graduating the majority of my final year have gained employment based around our degree.
TBH I think in the current climate you are damned lucky to get a job (hopefully that will change by the time you graduate!).
It doesn't matter where your degree comes from at the moment..In Ireland anyway.
My current situation is I have an hons degree in a Pharma related subject and the only thing that's holding me back is lack of industry experience (only have research exp so far), not because my degree comes from NUIG.

I believe that if NUIG offers a course that you want to do, over the slightly higher ranked Universities and you believe that you will get from it what you want, then that is all matters.
    That's my opinion anyway

No idea about the Campus accommodation I always got a house share with randomers (far cheaper)
Maybe ring Corrib,Gort etc to find out?
Either way it won't be the end of the world if you don't. I met some great people through house sharing who I'm still great friends with now!

good luck with whatever you decide
