Neagh Road, Terenure

Hi All,
Looking around the Melvin / Neagh road area of terenure for a property to buy. Not familiar with the area at all so was hoping to get some advice on what type of area it is? Houses seem to be quite pricey but neighbourhood doesnt look that great (compared to somewhere like Marino similar area im more familiar with - less green areas, less gentrification).
Any thoughts or opinions???

There is a price premium because it's Terenure.

The quality of the houses is not as high as contemporary standards, but many of them have been upgraded well in recent years. Despite what bleary has dug up, the neighbours are generally good, and the area is peaceful enough.
