Doing Arts here and then Primary Ed in the UK

Hello everyone, Just a quick question , my plan is to do Arts in NUIG starting this year and then after go to the UK, most likely Scotland, and do a course in Primary Education there and teach there. Does anyone know if it's really important which Arts subjects you do to complete a Primary Education course in the UK?
