Out of interest what sort of recourse are you expecting now?

Wheel balancing was out and fixed, this can be out due to potholes, poor roads, etc.

Dead battery recharged but now dead again which probably means that the battery needs to be replaced altogether. A battery is a wear and tear item and normally would not be covered under warranty. You can buy a new one for under €100.

Brake pads again are a wear and tear item, they need replacing after a certain length of time.

Broken boost pipe replaced by garage, seems fair enough by them.

Being honest apart from the boost pipe, most of the stuff above are serviceable items which fall under maintenance, not warranty. Most garages would not have entertained fixing serviceable items under warranty.

I'd agree with Bazz, you've had it three months, things do wear out on a secondhand car. What mileage does it have up?

(That it is a SIMI garage makes not a shred of difference btw... this lot actually seem to have been quite good at keeping you running)

What's a boost pipe btw and what has it got to do with charging the battery? Genuine question...)

Lads. I bought a car of my uncle about six years ago. Every year at its annual service my mechanic tells me the oil needs to be changed. Is he taking me for a ride, or did my uncle sell me a lemon? Plus, I've lost track of the number of times I've had to top up the water in the windscreen washer.

I also had to replace the fuel pump there a while ago, but I think this might just have worn out. No issue with that.

    :D

Turbo boost pipe, rubber pipe that carries boosted air from the turbo down to intercooler. Generally they split or deteriorate and leak boost pressure

Nothing to do with the battery.

Sorry, you sound a bit indistinct with you tongue so far in your cheek! ;)
