History Essays: Swap 'em if ya got 'em

I'm willing to share my essays to anyone who wants to swap. Note I'm not aiming to plagiarise but get another perspective/ points I missed. All these essays are my own. Also, half my essays are corrected by a harsh marker and the other half (who in my opinion) is easy enough, in other words the grade may vary....

- American involvement in foreign conflicts (Korea, Cuba, Berlin, etc. 94%)
- Moon Landing (87%)
- Strength and Weaknesses of Parnell (100%)
- 85/86 Elections (92%)
- Stalin Economic Policies (96%)
- Lenin and Stalin contribution to Communism (96%)

- Tech Warfare (96%)
- How Nazi persecution led to the Holocaust (96%)

Foreign policy. Always foreign policy. It's so much more interesting and more simple than the culture ****e.

If you get a question about Truman or LBJ (Key personalities), you'll need to know domestic issues too - civil rights, the economy.

Personally, I don't like the broader civil rights stuff (MLK etc), I find the politics more interesting, same goes for Northern Ireland.

I know, they have come up every year in some form so hopefully unless were incredibly unlucky.

I saw that ya at end of the stalin chapter there is a bit about it but it seems like it wouldn't cover you for the question they asked. You would have had to have done the world war 2 chapter aswell. I'm really not sure anymore if britain and russia will cover me.

I actually had a dream last night I was in the history exam and Lenin came up with some question like 'Who was Lenin? What did he do?' I hope its a sign :P
But seriously I'm really worried they wont come up, I do have other things prepared but I would really like a question on Russia but it's bound to be absent some year, hopefully it won't be this year.

Hitler didn't come up last year so I'm afraid that this year Lenin/Stalin will be no-shows. They weren't on my mock which I know doesn't mean that much, but still... All we can do is hope and cram the other dictators I guess

Hitler came up indirectly, so heres hoping. Every three years Lenin and Stalin come up.

As a history teacher, my advice is that you ensure that you know the case studies well for the topic. Read the questions carefully. I had a student during a trial exam, who answered a question on Stalin and completely disregarded the fact that they asked about Lenin as well due to the fact that they were desperate for Stalin to come up, so be very careful. Timing is major, you have a lot to write in this exam, so pace yourself accordingly. Best of luck
