Has any one any recommendations for a personal overseas bank account? I looking for a bank that offer good security, good online banking and multi currency accounts.

I am willing to fly to Europe to open it, but don't really have a clue where to start looking or how to approach the situation.

Why overseas? What currencies do you need? Have you considered Irish banks many of which offer non-EUR accounts?

The problem you are going to run into is many European banks will not allow non-residents open accounts.

Perhaps drive up to Newry and open an account with the likes of Spanish bank Santander.
