I have a 09 Toyota avensis and I want to play my music from my iPhone in it. There is an aux function but I find it awkward to use. is there an docking station or an alternative way of playing music.

I also have one of those units that you can tune it in to the radio but I find there is some interference.

I think one of these will do the trick. Plug in to your aux port and pair your phone via bluetooth to stream.

Do you use Bluetooth for making calls?

I would guess that would make using another seperate Bluetooth device for playing music impossible then.

(Well, not impossible, but way more hassle than just plugging it in)

You can get a toyota iPod integration kit, but its not fully compatible with iPhone in my experience.
A Bluetooth phone kit that does music streaming would be the job.

If I turned off the phone Bluetooth make it work. Don't get many calls.

    Yeah, Seamu$'s suggestion would work.

This'd hardly make it more pleasant?

The one I have is similar but plugs into the earphone plug. Maybe that type and a phone holder might be a option.

I hate integrated stereo's, which I could just upgrade it.

Are you streaming from the phones card or using spotify?

You have lost me now I'm afraid.
I normally plug cable in to earphone port on iphone and then in to aux in car and play music. It very awkward.

Ok, have you considered bypassing the phone altogether and just using an SD card/usb stick for your music?

That's look good. How do you select the music from it?

Sorry info in that link. Great product. Might be my answer.
    Cheers.

Which parrot kit do you have? MKI3100/3200? If you were to get the 9200 it would work a treat via the controller and display. There might even be a look to link it to the steering wheel controls.

Is the sound not a bit crap on those? Do they still have their own amp?
