The Hold Steady have announced European dates, and they play the Academy on 18th October, Tickets onsale next Tuesday (27/05) at 9am.

Great band, if wages come in next week and tickets are available then I'm there.

Nice One, I missed them last time they were here so hopefully won't this time!

What are people's opinion on "Teeth Dreams"?

Like The ambassador song, will be hoping for a good mixture from the earlier albums. meant to be a great live band

not too bothered with teeth dreams but they are still an amazing live band with a great back catalogue

Such a good live band though, will definitely be there.

Well doesn't look like Teeth dreams features much in sets. They seem to be playing a lot of festival/shortened gigs, this is the last full set I could see

Teeth dreams makes up quarter of their set so they're hardly ignoring it

Looking forward to this although I'm not a mad fan of the Academy as a venue... Last time out they were pretty savage though so expect nothing different. Some really good songs on Teeth Dreams although maybe it's not as complete as some of their other records...

    Yup. Tight as F!
Definitely one of the best "support" bands I've seen.
